GENTRY BUNDLIE IS AN ACTIVE FREELANCE VIOLIST IN THE SAN JOSE AREA AND A REGISTERED SUZUKI TEACHER FOR VIOLA AND VIOLIN. 


GENTRY GRADUATED WITH HER MASTERS OF MUSIC IN VIOLA PERFORMANCE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AT SANTA BARBARA AS THE MARTIN KAMEN FELLOWSHIP AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING STRING GRADUATE.  DURING HER TIME THERE, SHE PARTICIPATED IN MASTERCLASSES WITH PHILIP SETZER FROM THE EMERSON STRING QUARTET AND HANK DUTT FROM THE KRONOS QUARTET.

GENTRY RECEIVED HER BACHELORS OF MUSIC FROM WESTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IN VIOLA PERFORMANCE, WHERE SHE WAS SELECTED AS THE OUTSTANDING MUSIC GRADUATE. IN HER STUDIES THERE, SHE ALSO SERVED AS THE PRINCIPAL VIOLIST FOR THE WESTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY (WWU) ORCHESTRA, AND WAS A MEMBER OF THE WWU SCHOLARSHIP STRING QUARTET.

IN THE SUMMER OF 2010, SHE PARTICIPATED IN THE MARROWSTONE MUSIC FESTIVAL AS A RECIPIENT OF THE FELLOWSHIP SCHOLARSHIP AND ATTENDED THE MONTECITO SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL IN THE SUMMER OF 2011. GENTRY HAS PERFORMED WITH THE JUNEAU SYMPHONY AND ALSO THE WHATCOM SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AS A SUBSTITUTE VIOLIST. BESIDES BEING AN ACTIVE CLASSICAL MUSICIAN, GENTRY HAS PERFORMED AS A CELTIC FIDDLER ON VIOLA INCLUDING OPENING SHOWS FOR THE WICKED TINKERS IN LACEY, WASHINGTON.

HER PRINCIPAL TEACHERS INCLUDE ERIC KEAN AND HELEN CALLUS.

GENTRY IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING STUDENTS FOR VIOLA AND VIOLIN.
